Mother’s Day Bakery Pop-up!

Sunday, May 10th | 9-12 @ Hayward | 209 North Kutch Street

We’re throwing a Mother’s Day bakery pop-up. It’s going to smell very good in here.

The plan: a small, slightly unhinged group of us will stay up all night baking. Doughs will be tended. Ovens will not turn off. By morning, we’ll have way too much bread (or just enough, depending on how you show up)!

Expect a proper spread: focaccia still warm and slicked with olive oil and sesame seeds, a borderline excessive tower of loaves, tahini cookies in numbers we won’t disclose, brownies stacked like we’re planning for a shortage. Maybe a few curveballs if the night takes us there.

Our friends at Summon Coffee will be outside with their espresso cart, doing the important work — strong coffee, no nonsense.

This is mostly a grab-and-go situation. We’ll have a few spots to stand around, maybe a seat or two if you get lucky, but the move is: come early and don’t worry about crumbs in the car.

Bring your mom, bring a friend, bring a plan. Or just bring yourself and let the bread make the decisions.
